Forget-You-Not
Sometimes the ache of distance
drains the soul of hope
and the pain of untouching
sears deeper than the brand.
Sometimes the thought of you
races through my mind
pounding my brain to be found –
but echoes are all that I hear.
Memories are no longer enough
to hold you to my breast,
nor folding your clothes again and again
in hopes I might still feel you.
My scrapbook is full, though no photos I see;
tears have chipped the faded prints
like the paint on the front porch swing
I no longer use –
for lack of you.

We live in dark and troubling times. When light is sorely needed. For it is in the darkest hour that a single flame burns brightest. This story is such a flame. Told from the perspective of a young widow whose fireman husband died in the towers. The story seeks to not only honor those who perished but also to keep their memories and the events of that day alive for future generations to be guided by. To give a flame of hope amidst the darkness.

My goal is to have Ascent of Souls performed in the 9/11 Memorial Museum.

I am seeking a producer(s) who will share my vision and be able to bring it to the stage.

Wind Rider

A galactic fantasy adventure set in the alternative universe of—Eldranaal, the World Tree.
This luminous World Tree (an alternative universe, where both history and legend are real and where the line between life and death is ever shifting) is in peril from the dark forces of an ancient evil who have been gnawing away at its roots – and only one boy stands in the way of the total collapse of the universe.
The story takes place in 1936 (mostly) and is a coming of age story about a boy with big dreams who may have an even bigger destiny when he is contacted by a mythological creature from another world. These aliens want the boy to come to them to fulfill his destiny as the Fisher King and save the World Tree from falling. But an ancient evil also wants the boy brought to him in hell.
